This is a very RARE Bacchus BST-64V in VWH, from the earliest era of the Bacchus ‘Vintage Series’ as the 002206 serial number is circa 1995 BODY: 2 piece, center seam, light weight Alder = just like Fender USA Custom Shop body construction NECK: Maple FINGERBOARD: Rosewood, round laminated just like a 1964 Stratocaster FINISH: 100% Nitrocellulose lacquer top coat FINISH COLOR: VWH = vintage white FRETS: vintage small frets, moderate wear but many years of playing life left ELECTRONICS: 100% original, the Alnico Special pickups are some of the best sounding Strat pickups around CONDITION: light relic condition, heavily oxidize screw heads, moderately oxidized hardware, finish dulling SERIAL NUMBER: 002206 = very early Bacchus ‘Vintage Series’ from circa 1995 WEIGHT: 7 lb. – 11 oz. The Bacchus ‘Vintage Series’ BST-64V model is a replica of a 1964 Fender Stratocaster, and the replication is so detailed as to include the 1964 Fender style ’round laminated’ rosewood fingerboard. This BST-64V is a very rare & very early example, as the 002206 serial number indicates, circa 1995 production. The Bacchus Vintage Series Fender replicas were made with 2 piece/center seam bodies, just like the Fender USA Custom Shop models are made. The quality of the BST-64V is on par with, and may possibly even exceed the quality of Fender Custom Shop examples.
