i bought this guitar about 10 years ago from a buddy who bought a bunch of them from japan! all original and there are a few scratches and dings if you stand 2 feet away……….you can’t see any of them everything is perfect ……….. neck is great frets are great (they feel like the old gibsom les paul custom frets) i just don’t play an SG anymore no serial number im told that these were the “black market burny’s” i have a friend that has a gibson SG from the early 90′s and this (in my opinion) plays and sounds better than his. shipping only in the lower 48 and paypal is our only form of payment please feel free to ask any questions good luck and thanks for looking

A Burny ‘Super Grade’ Standard Flame Maple LP Guitar. In excellent used condition. (see pics) A solid-body guitar (it weighs 4.40 kilos) that is from the late-80′s. It has fret edge binding and VH-1 pickups.  The guitar is clean and unmarked on the front. The back is also clean other than two biggish lacquer chips on the bottom edge. The back of the slim-C profile neck is clean and unmarked and the headstock has a couple of chips on top. The original nickel hardware is in excellent order and working fine. The electrics are fine and working well as are the original VH-1 pickups. The fretboard is fine and the overbound frets are showing minimal to zero wear. Its playing nicely and includes a gigbag. HISTORY ABOUT THIS MODEL In 1996, just before the hide’s solo tour “PSYENCE A GO GO” began, he requested a new guitar for the tour. He said: “I need a new guitar other than MG model for this tour.” “It must be like the Van Halen’s one.” “I don’t need mid/neck pickup. A bridge pickup will be enough.” Five days later, a legendary “JG Custom” was born. It was a modified guitar based on FERNANDES JG series. It had been modified to a guitar with one single volume knob, 22 frets, and with a transparent pickguard. The neck pickup had been detached from the guitar. There are ornamental illuminations under the transparent pickguard. The LED and the indicators illuminates when the cable is connected to the guitar. The first time when “hide” checked this guitar out, he said “It looks like a training machine!”, and it became one of his favorite guitars. The JG custom had been introduced into his guitar collection after the sound of it had been adjusted. In the tour, he performed his song “FLAME” with this modified JG. Two years later, in 1998, he used it in the official video clip of a legendary song “ROCKET DIVE”, which is the most famous song of his solo works. He gave us hope and courage in this song. As result, the “JG Custom” became famous among the fans as hide’s guitar that is not a JG model. FEATURES So far, a couple of similarities have been produced by several manufacturers as a tribute for him, but they are not the exact copy of his original one. Actually the LED or the wirings under the pickguard was not exactly the same. The demand for a complete reproduction has grown continuously until today. …No more waiting!! This is it!! hide’s original JG model is completely different from his other guitars like MG model in many features. Features of new “JG-hide MODEL Pewter” are perfectly same to the original, such as; performance, sound, the ornamental illuminations called “Ornamental Art” on the body, DiMarzio DP192 Air Zone pickup, etc. The DiMarzio DP192 Air Zone pickup lets the sound of each strings be separated, and improves the sound brilliance. Nice late 80′s Burny. These Burnys had no serial #’s but according to my research this is probably an 86-87 model. It had the later style VH-1 pickups in it which I changed to Seymour Duncans. JB Bridge & Jazz Neck. I do not have the vh-1′s anymore. Also changed to 50′s style wiring & upgraded the tone caps to Mojo Dijon’s .022 Tone & volume pot’s are original. Small ding on front & one on back as seen in pic’s. Neck is straight. Frets are good & tuners work smoothly. Medium Tenon neck joint. No cracks breaks or repairs. Bridge pu Rocks & neck pu is very versatile. Will ship with original gig bag well packed in a guitar shipping box. Shipping will be USPS.

A Burny Custom White LP Guitar. In excellent used condition. (see pics) A solid-body guitar (it weighs 3.60 kilos) that is from the mid-80′s. It has fret edge binding and VH-1 pickups. The guitar is that nicely very slight yellowed off-white. The front is clean other than one small chip. The back has a the odd small scratch and a few small dimples but is also very clean. The back of the slim-60s profile neck has a couple of minor marks but is basically clean as is the headstock which has a couple of small scratches/chips. The original hardware has some minor age wear to the goldplate and is in excellent order and working fine. The electrics are fine and working well and the pickups  are original. The fretboard is good with the overbound frets showing minimal to zero wear. Its playing nicely and includes a gigbag. Nothing serious. Back of neck is perfectly smooth. Top is nearly perfect. No signs of abuse. No rash on the back. Beautiful condition for a 24 year old vintage axe. Condition at least 9/10. BURNY 80′s LP Custom ’3PU’ Black Beauty “Made in Japan” A Burny Guitar from the 80′s. Specs include a Maple top with a mahogany body(since the body is painted, it is hard to figure if the body is all Mahogany or Maple on Mahogany. (Could be Maple on Mahogany based on its weight). Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, medium-thin neck profile (slim 60′s) and 22 frets in very good shape; (at least 80%+ play left in them). Slight fret wear on lower position under 2nd and 3rd strings. Short tenon with fret edge binding. Pickups are the famous Burny VH-1 pickups, (best PAF style pickups from Japan). Bridge pickup cover is removed and not included. The guitar weighs 10 lbs. The guitar has many small dents, scratches and paint chips here and there, albeit mostly around the body front & back, neck back and headstock front, back and edges (see pics). Hardware shows normal wear considering its age. There is an inch long finish crack next to the nut on the high E side, although it only seems to be in the finish, not through the wood; (see the very last pic). BURNY Late 70′s FSG-65 SG w/ hardshell case – Made in Japan A Burny Guitar from the late 70′s; (serial# starts with 922 and along with the Fernandes logo, means the guitar should come from 1979). It was also featured in the 1979 Fernandes/Burny catalog; (see last pic). Specs include a Mahogany body, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. Medium-thin neck profile (short tenon) with a slim/thin 60′s type shape, 22 frets in good shape and probably around 75-80% play left in them. Slight wear on lower frets; 1st-6th. Pickups are stock and the guitar weighs about 6 1/2 lbs. Just some minor scratches, dents and tiny paint chips by headstock edge, body top & back, near tuners and back of nut.
