This is a 2004 model but has spent the 8 years in the closet. Except for 1/4″ tiny surface scratch right next to the pickup cover on the back of the guitar it is flawless with no nick, dents or dings anywhere on it not even pick marks or swirls. It is black and beautiful with no fret ware. It has the wide flat neck profile and is an amazing guitar with ebony fret board and floyd rose on it. This is my one-of-a-kind Wayne Charvel exotic rock legend. This guitar is absolutely flawless and one of my favorites. Unfortunately I have to part with her. There is not a ding scratch or dent anywhere on the guitar and it plays like a dream. Note the amazing quilted Maple top and highly figured flamed maple neck and headstock. Has the DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge position and Liquifire in the neck position. This guitar plays as good as it looks. Massive Charvel Frets. Skunk stripe on the back of the neck. Super thin neck and contoured heel for ultrafast playing. Infinitely better instrument than the Charvel/Fender. Forget Ibanez, forget ESP, forget Schecter. Charvel was the original “superstrat” guitar and this is from THE era that made them famous. These older Charvels are getting harder and harder to find nowadays since collectors have snapped most of them up. And it’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find one in this condition! This guitar is in FANTASTIC condition and plays with super low action. There are no dings. I can’t find any scratches. NO buckle rash. I have NEVER seen a vintage Charvel in this prime of condition before. The only thing I found is a tiny nick up on top of the headstock. You’d have to be looking for it to find it (see the picture). Other than that, it’s in prime collector’s condition. The guitar sounds and plays great! This was before the dinky body style, so it’s a full-sized, strat-style body and it’s nice and weighty. It feels like a quality instrument. And the Charvel neck is one of the most comfortable I have ever played with jumbo frets and compound radius. Super low action tops it off and the frets are in fantastic condition. The guitar is finished in a GORGEOUS sparkle pearl white. The nitro lacquer is somewhat yellowed and is STUNNING up close. This is a vintage Charvel guitar at a GREAT price. If you have been looking at vintage Charvels and Jacksons, you had better bid on this one because I really doubt that you will ever find another Model 3 in this condition. I know I never have. This has Jackson pickups and the Floyd Rose tremolo has been upgraded. If you know these guitars, you know they originally came with the awful JT-6 tremolo. This has been upgraded to a modern single-locking Floyd Rose patent tremolo that’s in perfect condition. Even better, the sale of this guitar includes the ORIGINAL CHARVEL TWEED CASE. Talk about hard to find! These cases were no longer made after this era (they did NOT make them in the 90′s and beyond) and they are getting more rare by the day. 1988-89 Charvel Jackson Model 7, Legend, MIJ Japan. This is a rare Charvel Model 7 or Legend, (also known as the "Telly" in the japan only catalog). The body is from the Model 7, the neck is from a Model 4. The model 4 necks were the first to have white pearloid dots, and later had the sharkfins. Since the neck is from a Model 4, there's a locking nut, but you just leave the locking bolts loose and it works fine with the hardtail tele bridge. This guitar plays and sounds great! Not guite vintage but these will be soon! Charvel in the mid to late 80s were making amazing, high quality guitars to rival USA stuff by Fender, Schecter, and even the San Dimas Charvels. Great great Japanese guitars and some of the best value you can get these days. The neck is in great, excellent condition. The pointy tip is fully intact and the frets are in great shape. The back is nice and smooth and high gloss. The body is a players body. Has seen lots of use and has dings, scratches, dents, strumming marks on the top, sides and back. It's a 23 year old! Please inspect the large photos. It's got that great, played in look. Typical small finish hairline cracks by the neck pocket, all cosmetic. Some paint wear on the bridge. Still looks great, the cosmetic wear is just typical of a guitar that rocks hard and begs to be played. The bridge pickup was upgraded but I see no markings on the back so I'm not sure of the brand. Sounds amazing though, sounds great clean and with medium and high gain. Has been upgraded with Dunlop dual design locking strap buttons. You are looking at a 1990′s model Fusion Custom. The guitar comes with the original hard-shell case. All original guitar with an EMG pick up. This guitar sounds and plays great.
