Awesome Flanger from the 70′s! “Black Label” model made in Japan – has that classic analog soundOriginal owner – some paint chips but very solid construction. Used this pedal for several gigs years ago but was stored away with other electronics gear in a sealed container. Still operates perfectly on a single 9 volt battery – battery connector professionally replaced (original connector was cheap andfailed to stay attached to the battery) – no noise or switching pops – sounds like it did when new! It works both as a pitch shifter and a digital delay and it is perhaps surprising that it doesn’t use the same chip as the DD-3 and DSD-3. Selling a Boss AC-2 acoustic simulator. Not much else to say it makes your electric guitar sound more like an acoustic. It checks out and is working fine, does have some minor nicks and scratches in the paint. The bottom plate says made in Japan, however the screws do not look original so the bottom plate could have been changed. Texas residents must pay sales tax. Shipping will be $8 in the US. Happy to arrange international shipping. The SG-1 filters out the attack of your note, and swells the volume automatically. There are only 2 controls, one for the attack speed, and the other for sensitivity. The attack knob controls the speed of the volume swells. A compressor or overdrive in front of it may be helpful to minimize the variations in your signal level for the SG-1′s response. Used with a delay it sounds sort of like a more articulated E-bow or a passage played backwards. The SG-1 circuit is very similar to the NF-1. The pedal was in fact made using the exact same circuit as the NF-1 but the way it works is completely opposite. With the NF-1, the sound decays away but is cut when it falls below a threshold. With the SG-1, the attack is filtered out and then the sound increases gradually. The Slow Gear is a rather unique effect and the SG-1 has become one of the hardest Boss pedals to get hold of.
