Made in Japan, serial # 5011664, model M-16CAM, this is a super rare guitar. Rosewood fretboard, Fender Japan tuners, frets in great shape, plays great, has average play wear, very good overall condition, comes in original case(1 broken latch). Here is a Hondo M16 guitar. Despite its gimmick like appearance this has a great musical sound and feel. It’s most definitely a musical instrument with integrity, I was impressed with the acoustic tone, doubly so when plugged in. There are numerous scratches and dings but nothing of significance. All round in very good shape, electronics all work well, neck and frets have hardly any wear. I am hoping for a buyer in the Military, or at least associated with it. I feel a soldier, airman or sailor would appreciate the irony of the thing, especially a soldier who has used one in combat.

Hondo H-700 Allstar in great condition for its age. I have owned it 20 + years and must sell my keepers. All original except the saddles ,“NEW” have been changed to American strat type saddles. This helped very much in the intonation. Also the neck adjustment is in the heel and to adjust the neck the neck would have to come off. Not any more! There is a slot in the pick guard now that will allow neck adjustment without the neck or pickguard coming off. A great improvement! Almost no fret wear! The neck is killer,super fast and easy to note. This has the original pickup that has a splitter switch for single coil or humbucker position and very twangy in the single coil position. Action is very low and plays very well. . Great quality guitar made in Korea in the 1980s. Its a very compact guitar with good balance. Value will go up on these guitars. Up for auction is a vintage Hondo Model II H2 Star. Apart from the gash at the end of the top fin, which you can see in the pictures, this guitar is in very clean vintage condition. We have not been able to find out too much about this very unusual guitar. The stickers on it indicate that it was made in Korea and that it is the Model II. Hondo made a Les Paul copy in the ’80s that was designated the Model II and this certainly is no Gibson knockoff. We have also seen the guitar referred to as an H2 or Star guitar but again there are other Hondo models that appear to go by these names so we are not sure what it is beyond what it says on the sticker. It is likely that this guitar was made in the early ’80s but we can’t be certain about even this.Beyond the extreme fins on this instrument, it is a Strat style guitar with two of the three normal Strat pickups, a tremolo bridge (bar not included), a single volume and tone control and a pickup selector switch. Whilst the body is its own thing, the headstock is clearly Strat influenced. With its single coil pickups this does sound as much like a Strat as anything else but someone wanting this guitar is looking at more than just the pickup configuration and neck access to the 24th fret. The body shape is an extreme ’80s take on ’50s American automobile tail fins and the shape will stand out no matter what. This guitar is guaranteed to do more for you than the Roland G-707 guitar did for Sigue Sigue Sputnik. Not everyone would see that as a good thing. I have for sale a Vintage Hondo Les Paul H737 Pro model guitar with the machine tuners,Dimarzio vintage pickups that they do not produce any more. This guitar was completely taken apart tuners and all, cleaned, refurbished. Every screw was tightened. Electronics were cleaned and tested. Its set up with new Earnie Ball 10s and it rocks. This is not a new guitar so don’t be disapponted because there are some scratches/dings but only on the back of the guitar. The front is a dark sweet honey burst with creme appointments. There is still life in the frets but they will need attention eventually if you plan on gigging the guitar. The neck is Mahogony and a real nice Rosewood fret board with great action. I go to guitar center and test play guitars all the time. When I bring this in the employees want to play it. I also have a brand new Gator Hard shell case available for $55.00 extra, Bidding is for the guitar only.
