A Greco S-55 Sunburst Jazz Guitar. These are made by the Fugi-gen Gakki company and were only sold in Japan. This was Made in Japan in 1978 based on the serial number C785389.  It is a ES-175 copy hollow-body with maple archtop In excellent used condition. (see pics) A hollow body guitar (it weighs 3.35kilos) that is clean on the front other than a couple of small marks including a very faint non-fade mark where the bridge was positioned in the wrong place near the tailpiece. The back has the odd tiny scratch and a couple of tiny chips on the edges but is also very clean. The back of the neck is clean as is the headstock which has a couple of tiny chips on the sides. The original hardware is in excellent order and working well. The tailpiece has some corrosion but is fine. The electrics are good with the original pickups. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard is fine and the frets are showing some wear in a few places but are fine. A Greco EG-600 Custom Sunburst Guitar. These are made by the Fugi-gen Gakki company and were only sold in Japan. This is one of the Mint Collection Series and was Made in Japan in 1982 based on the serial number 2 5951. One of the first after the Super Real models it has the older pickups most likely U-1000s and the dowel joint neck rather than a long tenon and Screamin 1982 pickups. It has fret edge binding. In excellent used condition. (see pics) A solid-body guitar (it weighs 4.50 kilos) that has a few scratches and a couple of tiny dimples on the front but is basically clean. The back has some scratching and a few small dings/chips but again nothing major. The back of the slim-C profile neck has a number of small dings and the headstock has a some chips and scratches. The original hardware has some age wear to the goldplate but is in excellent order and working well. The electrics are good with the original pickups. The rosewood fretboard is fine with the frets showing some wear in places but are well playable. A Greco SA-500 Sunburst Guitar. These are made by the Fugi-gen Gakki company and were only sold in Japan. This was Made in Japan in 1981 based on the serial number B814190.  It is a ES-335 copy with a block under the bridge. In excellent used condition. (see pics) A semi-hollow body guitar (it weighs 3.50 kilos) that is clean on the front. The back has a couple of chips but is otherwise clean. The back of slim-60s neck is clean with a couple of tiny unnoticeable marks and the headstock has a few chips. There is a small crack in the lacquer only on the back of the neck joint but its not of concern. The original nickel hardware is in excellent order and working well – has the hallmarked tuners. The electrics are good with the original pickups. The rosewood fretboard is fine with the overbound frets showing minimal wear. 1980 Greco EGF 850 Super RealThis EGF 850 has a later “non-doweled” transitional tenon and is a Fujigen made Greco,Pickup cavities are flat black, consistent with Super Real models. Serial number is #0 xxxx , a 1980 number. Has unblemished Schaller nickel finish steel tuners installed, but I still have original Greco Deluxe Kluson tuners which can be substituted for Schallers. The finish is nitro. Nitro crazing has begun slightly at the bottom lower bout front and back (about 2-3″). Pictures 3 and 6 show all nitro crazing. Crazing is only noticeable from certain reflected angles and the finish remains uncompromised and smooth to the touch. Some EGF 1200′s have the same dark fret board coloring, (All EGF 1200′s are reported to have Brazilian rosewood fret boards). Because fretboard rosewood on this EGF 850 is unremarkable, outside of dark coloring , I’m can’t be sure of rosewood origin, but some 1980 EGF 850′s are reported as having Brazilian rosewood fret boards. The 1959 profile neck shows no wear anywhere. There is no evidence of wear on frets, unusual for a 30 year old guitar, that was probably collected but rarely, if ever, played. Neck is straight with no playability issues or buzzing, and has fret edge binding. Inlay work is among the best I have ever seen. There are no unsightly gaps or marked color differences at neck inlay edges. Weight is 9 lbs 4 ounces on an accurate Toledo scale.Pickups are Maxon PU-2 stamped back models, with 8.24k neck and 8.48k bridge readings. Braided pickup leads. This guitar is in “collector condition” with no buckle rash or damage anywhere outside of some tiny dinks on the back and one on the headstock overlay.The back has a well matched center seam. The top is a very complex pin flame that can look like cloud or bird’s eye patterns from certain angles. Nothing short of stunning ! The top flame pattern is similar to most Tokai LS-120 lemon drop tops from the same period and often costing $1000 more. Hardware has nice dulled aged nickel patina, popular on most EGF models. Outside of a little nitro crazing and the few very small dinks, (which are normal for a well cared for 32 year old guitar), this guitar has no issues whatsoever. Fujigen also made highly regarded Orville by Gibson and Epiphone Elitist and Lacquer series Les Paul guitars.Guitar will be wrapped in plastic packaged in a padded deluxe black nylon gig bag and then padded inside a double cardboard box to ensure a damage free shipment. A new black lined hard case is available for $60 more.Actual shipping is charged on over seas orders, usually between $130 and $160 (depending on case it ships with). All sales are final.
